Message to our residential tenants
The SHDM wishes to inform you that the Société d'habitation Québec (SHQ) has set up a financial assistance program for tenants to pay their rent in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this program is to temporarily support tenants who do not have enough cash to pay their May and/or June rent, in whole or in part, due to the loss of their job, stoppage of work or reduction in the number of hours worked in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
This program applies to the entire territory of Québec, with the exception of Indian reserves. It allows tenants to take out an interest-free loan for a maximum fixed amount of $1,500, enabling them to pay their May and/or June 2020 rent, in whole or in part.
The financial assistance is paid directly to landlords.

In accordance with the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information, to which the SHDM is subject as a public body, the supplier consents to the disclosure of his data entered in this registration form.
